Hammondcare – Strathearn House Aged Care

HammondCare is one of Australia’s leading providers of palliative, rehabilitation, aged and dementia care. Established in 1932 by Anglican Archdeacon R B S Hammond, they have grown to over 21 sites Australia wide.

HammondCare facilities, as with many buildings, evolved around independent and standalone systems such as air conditioning, lighting, metering and back-up power generators. Manual metering and monitoring of fridges, freezers and water management resulted in an overall fragmented approach.

Managing these various systems to achieve efficiencies and cost effectiveness at a site level can be challenging, let alone across 21 sites.

HammondCare approached mySmart to develop and implement an intelligent environment approach which integrated their numerous systems onto one operational platform and enabled the capturing and analysis of data.
