What is Salto Sense?
Salto Sense (branded by Salto as XS4 Sense) is a wireless smart energy management system that uses presence and door/window sensors to automatically control HVAC, lighting, and connected electronics in guest rooms.
Does Salto Sense need to be integrated with a door lock to work?
No. Salto Sense operates independently using its own occupancy and door/window sensors. Integration with Salto’s access control platform is optional and adds a combined security-and-energy view, but isn’t required for the energy management functions to work.
Is Salto Sense wired or wireless?
ully wireless. It’s designed for retrofit installation, communicating via Bluetooth Low Energy in standalone mode or Wi-Fi in connected mode, with no new cabling required.
Can Salto Sense be installed without other Salto products?
