2001
Founded on C-Bus
Our very first project, a Jaguar showroom in Rushcutters Bay, ran on C-Bus. One system, one
state, two people - that was the whole business.

2002
Employee number one
Brad joins as mySmart's very first employee. Twenty-three years later, he's still with us -
the first of many people who'd end up growing alongside the systems themselves.
2005
DALI arrives
We begin distributing an Australian-made DALI Control range - controllers, sensors and
switches built on the DALI protocol. The start of a platform story that's still running today.
2007
The world's largest DALI-controlled lighting system
Appointed ERCO's Light System DALI partner for Australia and New Zealand, and the same year we
delivered Westpac Place in Sydney - 286 DALI lines across a 35-storey, 74,000m² headquarters
housing over 5,000 staff. At the time, the largest DALI-controlled lighting installation in the
world.

2009
C-Bus Platinum Partner
In September, mySmart signs the C-Bus Platinum agreement - formal recognition of our
commercial-grade competence, eight years after that first Jaguar showroom. By this point we're
Australia's largest independent C-Bus integrator.
2010
An intern joins the team
A young Adnan starts as an intern. Fifteen years on, he's still here - now our National Sales
Manager. It's a pattern that repeats throughout this story: the people who grow with the systems.
