Every other system on this site arrived after C-Bus. It's the one we learned on, the one that built our reputation, and - a quarter century later - still one of the systems clients ask for by name.
This is the full story: from a Jaguar showroom in 2001 to a 6-Star Green Star head office in Perth in 2024, with a Platinum Partnership and a $25 million church auditorium somewhere in between.
The C-Bus story
Day one. Still winning today.

A Jaguar showroom in Rushcutters Bay
Our very first project. One system, one state, two people - and C-Bus was the system.

Macquarie Bank, Bond Street & Martin Place
A comprehensive upgrade and rewrite of the C-Bus lighting control across two buildings, 42
floors combined. Cleaners' switches gave short, fixed-period lighting instead of leaving whole
floors lit - a small change with real coal and CO2 savings, and an early sign of where energy
thinking was headed.

$25 million, 3,500 seats
Hillsong Church's new auditorium - one of Australia's largest churches - with a C-Bus lighting
solution delivered alongside electrical contractor Wilken Electrical Services. The system
controls the space as one venue in "Auditorium Mode," or splits it into up to 9 individual
conference and lecture rooms, each with its own local control isolated from the master system.

Doltone House, Hyde Park
Over 50 years, Doltone House has been Sydney's go-to venue collection for sleek, high-end
events. At Hyde Park, heritage arched windows and sandstone fireplaces sit alongside a
double-stitched black leather staircase and purpose-made crystal chandeliers - a modern take on
old-world glamour. mySmart delivered a hybrid C-Bus and DALI lighting and blind control system:
feature chandeliers switched directly through C-Bus relays (no dimming needed), house lighting
on individually addressable DALI scenes, and back-of-house manual switches with full touch
screen override. Numerous DLT switches and a central touch panel call up four preset scenes,
link event rooms together, and control blockout and shade blinds throughout. Delivered with
architect Koichi Takada, builder ISIS Group, lighting consultant Lighting, Art + Science, and
electrical contractor Alland Group.
